1. What does Axxess really do?
Sometimes we ask ourselves the same question! Axxess is a multifaceted company that designs and manufactures its own Signage, Devices (electronics) and Software. For the hospitality industry we put these together into Systems that help save money while providing better service to guests. In the residential industry we provide Devices such as our Wireless Motion Sensor for use with home automation systems such as Control4.
2. Can Axxess Systems be installed into an existing hotel, or only new hotels?
Since almost all of our Devices are wireless, installation in an existing hotel is both possible and more simple than ever.
3. Who builds your signs for you?
We do! We have our own signage division (Axxess Signage) that creates custom signs for every project. Our experience ranges from creating 8000 signs for large casino hotel projects to as little as 30 signs for boutique hotels.
4. Can Axxess Signage be designed to match my hotel's style or theme?
Yes! We can customize our plates to match your decor or color scheme, or we create a totally new design. We have our own in-house designers, or we can work with your interior designers for a completely customized product.
5. Are Axxess Devices UL & CSA approved?
Since most of our units are low voltage, UL/CSA approval is typically not required. If your jurisdiction has special requirements we will work with you, your contractor and your inspector to deal with regulatory requirements. In limited cases where we supply 110-volt systems, the relevant components are UL and CSA approved.
6. Who do I contact to purchase Axxess hospitality Systems?
Contact Axxess and, depending on your location, we will either refer you to a local dealer or work with you directly.
7. How does the privacy Service Indicator improve my hotel's image?
PrivacyService increases guests' safety & privacy. There is no mistake, with our red light on, the occupant does not want to be disturbed! With a simple touch of a button located on our Touchpad just inside the room, your guest can indicate a request for housekeeping, or desired privacy!
8. Why would I want a doorbell in a hotel room?
Besides the pleasant sound of the hotel doorbell the beauty of this design is the the sound is audible only in the one guest room. In the days of knocking the sound would travel down the hall into adjacent rooms bothering guests who didn’t want to be disturbed.
9. Why is trayTracker useful to our in room dining department?
TrayTracker saves your staff from having to wander the hallways in search of discarded room service trays and trolleys. If a tray or trolley is in the hall our Trays software will let you know where.
